i remember vaguely seeing these cartoons on tv as a kid but forgot how revolutionary they are in blurring fantasy and reality and despite their age how fluid and fast moving they are!

I've been reading this book "Love,sex, fear, death" about the Process church of the final judgement. My dad told me about this weird cult as he went to their coffee shop a few times in the sixties! The graphics for their magazine though are amazing and had a big influence on Genesis P Orridge of Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV as well as Charles Manson! Scary stuff but interesting imagery...

                spent today looking at chair designs for my illustrarion brief and became really interested in this by kurt seligmann. this mustve inspired the korova milkbar furniture in kubricks clocwork orange...more research!!!!
